Re: What draws you to read someone's work
Admittedly my capacity for reviewing has gone through the floor in the last several years. That said, a clever brief description will get me to at least take a look. Here are some items that lured me in one way or the other.

I'm not entirely sure there is a pattern to how descriptions lure me in. This little sample certainly feels very random. The only thing I know for sure is that all of them avoid things like begging for feedback and self flagellation. Seeing those things in descriptions will cause me to turn tail almost all the time.
