A warm welcome to our newbies; come meet new and not-so-new members of Writing.Com! |
I'm not exactly sure how to describe myself, here. I want to write, and I have ideas, but also they seem much beyond the scope of all of my other things. And then there's the detail that I've never seriously wrote before, which makes me nervous to mess up my first time. And I know it's all about "write for yourself", but I really can't take that to heart. The first thing to know really is that I have (what I assume is) some sort of anxiety. I'm sorry if I don't get back to you, it really just takes me way too much will to even post this here alone. I'll probably never work up the will to actually publish, but I might. If I had to recommend books, I'd have to go with Just Mercy or Tuesdays With Morrie if you want something to make you think. Or, there's a mystery book called "A Most Curious Murder" which I would say is pretty good. It has lots of references to Alice in Wonderland, so if you like that you might want to check it out. But even if you're like me and haven't even touched Alice, it's a good story. I think I will start with just reading for now. |
