I made a note of a post by S🤦♂️ some time back—these are his criteria:
5 stars means the story entertained me, and I found no errors.
4 stars means I was entertained, but there were a few niggles, technically or story-beat wise.
3 stars means I liked it, but there were a lot of areas where it could have been improved.
2 stars means I think there was potential, but it did not work for me.
1 star means it was virtually unreadable. Punctuation, paragraphing, story, everything - it just did not work.
