Have you ever read a newspaper article where at the end, it just stops? I mean it seems rather abrupt?
One of my specialty jobs in the Army was as a Public Affairs Officer. During the PAO course, we were taught how to write for a newspaper, which some PAO's must oversee. "When you ran out of facts, stop writing" was the catchphrase. Our job in that aspect of our job was to present the facts.
When you don't have anything else to say, don't say it here. That's how I decide when to stop on a thread.
