~Spider's Meow~

I've got a kitten
And his name is Spider
He loves his catnip toys
And he also likes apple cider

We got him on Halloween
A black kitten I should say
But he's very,very shy
It's going to be hard to get him to play

After three months, he got out of his shyness
Now he's a very hyper-active kitten
Always wanting to play'
Hope he doesn't chew on my father's mitten

The only thing I didn't hear out of him
Was his meow
How am I ever going to get Spider to meow?
What am I going to do to get Spider to do that now?

I waited for three weeks for his meow
But he never did it
I sighed and gave up
Then I heard that familiar sound

I walked to the bathroom and saw Spider,purring and meowing for food
I smiled and fed him
This was the first time I heard him meow
Now all he need is a little hair trim
