Writing.Com, or WDC, is a site that works because of the incredible community spirit that is already in place. Here at "Invalid Item"  we just want to share that good spirit around a little more, and try to make sure our newest members realize just how great a place this site is. Our name is our aim! I.N.K.E.D. is an acronym for Inspiring Newcomers and Kind, Encouraging Deeds, but it also stands for community spirit. We want to inspire newcomers. Having arrived on this page, we'll try and give you some idea how we go about doing just that.

Our mission at "Invalid Item"  is to welcome and encourage newcomers to the site and spotlight their work and efforts. Our veteran group members provide this through various services, namely: sending out welcoming C-notes, leaving encouraging Notebook Scribbles, Reviewing, and offering assistance through our forums. Newcomers may participate through the forums as well, by inquiring in "Invalid Item" , taking part in group events, getting to know other regulars on the site, and even encouraging fellow newcomers in "Invalid Item" . You can make a difference. Join our group of like-minded individuals that believe in spreading encouragement and positivity throughout the site to newcomers and veterans alike!

WDC's community functions with an economy through Gift Points, which is a virtual currency. Groups such as this, and others, use this currency through various activities and gifting. There is no minimum to how much you can donate to a group, it's all put to a good cause and every little bit helps. All donations that are over 35,000 Gift Points will be recognized here and rewarded with a Merit Badge that is paid for outside of the group funds. Thank you in advance for your consideration!
