The Truth and Nothing But

"I wonder why you like murder?" said Joe.
Jess decided to tell him the truth and nothing but the truth; he would never believe it.
She said, "I like the danger, the detailed planning involved and the interesting people who are sometimes murdered. It's fascinating."
Joe said, "So are you. Let's see if we can get this fellow to swap with you."
Luckily Joe could speak French and he convinced the Frenchman sitting next to him that he would be happier sitting in the seat vacated by Jess.
Joe was slightly surprised that the man had agreed to move as he was elderly, grumpy and had difficulty walking; three perfectly good reasons to want to stay put in his seat.
As the Frenchman walked unsteadily passed Jess, he seemed to stumble but really it was just so that he could pat Jess on the bottom.
Jess started laughing at the cheeky fellow but wouldn't tell Joe what she was laughing about.
Jess sat down and proceeded to discover just how interesting this prospective murder victim would turn out to be. Well he came through the first test. Joe sure could kiss!
