Blushing, Link immediately brushed off the idea of calling someone for help- it wouldn't do for anyone to see the Hero fo Time as he was now.
Stepping over towards the full length mirror in the room - a rare and expensive item in Hyrule these days, something she only put in the rooms of very important people who stayed in the castle- Link looked himself over in full, but not before stripping off what was left of his clothes until he was clothes in the only two garments he had left that fit- his loincloth, which while it fit was stretched to an uncomfortable point, and his hat.
The damage was evident.
The muscles he had trained so hard to get over the years had vanished. His biceps, once toned to a perfect degree from all his years of swordsmanship and archery were now soft, as were his legs, as if he'd only lounged around eating the past few years of his life, instead of running throughout Hyrule and dodging enemy attacks.
Of course, worst of all was his tomach and chest. His once fine and attractive pectoral and abdominal muscles had completely disappared, his abs replaced by a rather generous beginning belly that flopped over his loincloth and jiggled this way and that when he walked. As for his chest- he was beginning to develop breasts! No longer manly in appearance, Link's pectorals now drooped slightly as the fat had accumulated there.
Tentatively, Link poked his belly, watching as the action caused his now rather flabby stomach to vibrate. Then even more carefully, Link inhaled as he had before, then exhaled again.
To his slight horror, and slight curiosity, Link watched in the mirror as he put on weigh again- though this time to a lesser extent. The growth stared short of five pounds, luckily, though it was enough to give his "breasts" a more rounded look as well as make his loincloth all the more tighter.
"Whatever it was that did this to me...its stopping at least for now." Link said in an attempt to comfort himself.
In truth, he didn't really look fat, or at least, not as fat as King Zora, or Talon, or Darunia, at least. He actually looked like someone who had been fit once and had then had been chained down and force fed fattening foods for a few months. He was still tan, at least, too.
"The question is what...or who." Link muttered, his eyes narrowing as thoughts of Ganondorf and his many minions came to mind. "But how am I going to fix this?"
Primarily, Link needed to find a way out of the castle, or at least to a more private location. And for that he needed some clothes. While it might have caused a bit of a tizzy if he had went out in nothing but a loincloth before, now it would most likely only elicit screams...or people fainting, perhaps.
And, if he was to leave the castle, he'd need to decide where to go.
Sighing, Link felt his body over again. It felt...different, to say the least. Maybe a hot bath would help him sort out his problems?
