For her, it wasn't enough to simply become something else. Eiko also wanted to know what it felt like to have her body be completely altered to the point where she took on a completely different shape entirely.
At last, Eiko felt she was ready to actually apply one of these various spells to herself. She decided to just pick the first she came across: a spell that would make her into a letter block.
Once she's ready, she shuts her eyes and recites the spell. Almost immediately she feels the change start to take place, starting with her torso and abdomen, which are expanding outward to form the shape of the block. The block part of her body continues to grow, taking up her arms and legs, while her head shifts towards the front. Eiko giggles just a little as she feels her hands, feet, and head start to get overtaken by her block body, until each look like they've been engraved into her body. An indentation for the letter 'E' forms on the top of her body while one for 'e' forms on her back. Then the material change starts to take place. Eiko grins so that her face gets locked into that shape as her surface becomes wooden, and then feels like everything inside of her is becoming solid wood from the bottom of her body to the top, as if she was being filled up with the material. Even the air inside of her body gets mostly taken up by wood, leaving her feeling quite a bit 'full' as the transformation finishes.
"Wow...I can't believe this worked as well as it did! I can't wait to try some more complex shapes..." Eiko thinks to herself.
