To say Sam had decided to keep eating wasn't really correct: She couldn't stop if she wanted to. There had been no ghost activity lately, and after a while, she had run out of things to protest. She could find only one thing to occupy her mind: snacking in front of the television. At first she had just had a light snack when she finished her homework, but now she was rushing home every day after school to veg out with a feast of meat-free junk food (doughnuts, potato chips, and soda) and trashy TV.
Her weight gain was hardly noticable, but she had developed a fuller look, especially around her hips and thighs. Of course, she hadn't noticed this, nor did she seem to realize that her new hobby was bad for her. After all, she worked hard fighting for what she believed in and helping Danny out. She needed to relax.
