Delia then said, "I just remembered, Ash is coming home today!" A year ago, Ash had left to compete in the Hoenn League. Although she did respect her son's interest in becoming a Pokemon trainer, deep down she missed her son's company. Seeing her son's own return was more important than another queen-sized helping of food, Delia heaved her massive body out of her seat.
"Time to see my boy!" she spoke with much cheeriness. Waddling her way out of the restaurant and back home, Delia couldn't see to see Ash again. Strangely enough, she managed to get home before he did.
As Ash walked inside his house with Pikachu, he said, "Mom, I'm home!" "Ash! You're home!" she cheered. Once Ash saw his mom in her new frame, the first sentence to come out of his mouth was...
