Both parties must be within 100m of each other

”Well sir, there is a limit to how far apart both wearers must be from one another. If the ring bearers are not within 100m meters of each other, the swap will not occur.”

You frown at this, pondering whether the rings were still worth the trouble despite their possible use. “There seems to be many limitations to these rings, having need both range and consent, I’m beginning to wonder how useful they will be.”

He begins to speak more rapidly, worried he is losing your attention. “Oh, I assure you they are still very useful sir! Magic does have it’s limitations despite what many may think, and there are endless possibilities as to what you could do with them— surely having your target nearby is advantageous to some extent! However, if these rings are no longer peaking your interest I can show my my other wares. Although, they may not come as cheap my dear adventurer.”

You ponder his words, perhaps the rings could still be of use to you. You think of the possibilities of the rings powers, trapping your enemies in the bodies of mere slaves or becoming the Sultan himself, making you the most powerful man in the game. Sure, without the restrictions the task may come easier, but what fun would it be without a challenge?
