You watch the large wheel spin and spin slower and slower until it finally stops on 35 without jerking.
"You see? The wheel is not rigged!" The whip Mistress shouts indignantly as she gestures at the wheel.
"Yes I do, but I still wonder what caused the wheel to jerk before..." You start to say but you're interrupted by a loud crash that startles both you and the whip Mistress.
"Apparently the wheel jerked before because it was close to breaking." The whip Mistress replies as the two of you look down at the broken pieces of the shattered wheel.
"Oh I see, in that case I'm sorry for accusing you of rigging the wheel." You apologize to the whip Mistress.
The whip Mistress stops scowling and finally smiles, "Thank you for apologizing, but it wasn't your fault. Anyway since we had to spin the wheel twice I'll guess I'll let you choose. Do you want to try number 20 or number 35?"
