Two doors

You find the large oak door and manage to push it open. It swings smoothly to the left as you begin to slide on your belly down the hall. The walls on your right had, instead of white with lacing, a more maroon color. A warm feeling to a hall..

However, on the left, instead of a wall there were wide windows. As you slithered along you looked out to see a manifold of shaped hedges, flower patches, and a fountain. No doubt whoever owned this estate was a rich person.

Off in the distance you saw a path leading to a small lake and further out you see a city.
Coming to a door on your right, you look down the rest of the hall to see a door at the end. Which do you take?
