Gregg had a doctor's appointment today, he went alone, and told Susan that the doctor said that everything was great, but that wasn't really true... He has a great health even tho he is nearing the 380 pound mark, but the doctor advised him that he should lose a bit of weight since with his age it could be bad for his ankle. He knew that he needed to lose a bit of weight, but he couldn't tell Susan that, she loved cooking for him! he just couldn't take away that joy from her! And then a great idea hit him, he could give all the excess food to Rufus! He sure would be happy to eat those tasty foods, and Susan wouldn't notice as she is always cooking dishes as she serves them, the kids are the only ones that could notice, but they are good secret keepers.
And so he did, today Susan cooked a massive pot of mac and cheese, everyone started serving themselves while Susan went to the kitchen to finish the meatballs that she was preparing for the second dish. Gregg ate one plate, and as usual he went for seconds, but this time he placed the plate on the floor and called Rufus.
Rufus sprinted to the dish as he noticed what was happening, all that food was for him!
He started eating as he got hit by the buttery flavour and all the cheese. He had never tried something like that before, the dog lost his mind and started gulping down like he had never eaten before.
The plate was clean within seconds, just to be refilled again by Gregg, after all, Gregg had to hide somewhere all the food that he was not going to eat, and what best place other than the hungry dog's belly?
He repeated the same operation with the meatballs, as Susan was distracted making a cake for dessert, but this time he had to eat a lot more, Rufus couldn't keep up! The poor dog had reached it's maximum, 3 dishes of mac and cheese full to the brim and another 2 of meatballs defeated the stuffed canine, in fact, he hadn't eaten this much in his entire life, and let me tell you that, he loved it, you could see him suffering a bit of stomach pain, but his tail wag revealed his true emotion.
It totally worked, Susan didn't suspect anything and everyone was happy that way, but he also was a bit worried that in fact he was hiding something to his wife.
