Weekend Gain

She arrived at the Y in a pair of spandex workout shorts that used to emphasize her toned butt and thighs and never had a trace of a lovehandle, now stretched differently on her slightly widened thighs and blubbered booty, and especially gave way to a little flabby belly with some blooming lovehandles.
She claimed a treadmill and began to run. Right away she felt her flab jiggle with every step and she her self esteem started to crash and burn gradually. Embarrassed, she started to run faster and faster as if to outrun the fat. Out of shape from lazing around on her fattening ass, she grew tired right away and was only able to hold out running for a mile or so before she had to stop. Angry & discouraged at how she was starting to let herself go, she arrived home and drowned her frustration in two hamburgers, a can of soup, a bag of potato chips, and some Coke.
In fact, she continued this fatty binging for the entire weekend, until the realization of what she's just done. The "It will probably make me even fatter." notion hits her at about 9:30 on Sunday night. She paniced to check the scale. On Thursday, she had been 174 pounds. Stepping on the scale, she gasps at the number it reads- 178 pounds! She suddenly looks at her now full, round, but flabby belly and had the undesirable urge to feel it.
