They finally eased up. Jesse could see them clearly now. "We're going to let you go now, Jesse. I hope you've learned a lesson." Ash said. "Oh thank you, I promise never to try and steal pika-snot -- I mean pikachu again! Just please let me go!" she sobbed with laughter. And so they did, and never again did Jesse attempt to steal pikachu.
