A Good Idea?

For a few moments you scan the massive figure on the couch with your eyes, caught completely in awe at the sight of him. His muscular frame would have been intimidating enough without being a mere insect in comparison to him. As dangerous as it would be you decide that perhaps getting his attention would be best for you as if worst came to worst, you would rather be a pet than vermin.
Lining the corner of the couch are tassels that spread right up to the arm of the couch. As this seems to be the only way to reach him, you walk over and begin your ascent. Every couple of minutes the sleeping giant would toss and turn, making you worry that he might wake up and leave, putting all your efforts in vain. After a long and tiring hour you finally reach your destination.
In front of you an enormous face breathes an odorous gust towards you. Holding your breath you approach it with you feet heavy in the couch. You begin to press in to the thick skin on his cheek which seems to cause no reaction. Next you begin punching in to it, causing a twitch. Being half an inch seems to do little more then create the sensation of having a bug on the skin, barely enough to wake somebody.
A dangerous thought comes in to your mind as you look at his eyelid. Prepared to take a risk you push your arm in between his eyelids and in to his eye. Quickly you duck as a colossal finger replaces you and starts rubbing the eyelid. A loud rumbling groan and his opening eyes indicate the giant had woken from it's slumber. You begin to jump up and down excitedly to gain his attention. He squints in confusion. Suddenly you are snatched by two massive fingers and suspended in front of his face as he takes a seated position. The quick move upwards leaves you disorientated for a moment. You realize after you regain your senses that his expression has changed from confusion to an unsettling grin.
