The kid is already in tears, holding the broken remains of his toy. Alex made his way to the road. Over the street was a truck parked in the loading bay of a larger building. He looks around, making sure there are no witnesses around. Alex aims the gun at the target and pushes the trigger. A beam hits the semi and shrinks into a miniature version of itself. Alex went over and picked up the model truck. He is positively surprised by the feeling of just holding it. It is much more durable and well-built than the toy he had flattened. For such a lifelike model truck, some people would pay a lot of money. Alex went back to the park. He notices the supposed driver walking around the loading zone, searching for his vehicle. Alex chuckles to himself and moves on. The kid is still there, bawling his eyes out. Alex presented the toy to the boy. The kid’s face brightens up as he swipes the last tears off his face. The kid grabs the toy truck out of Alex’s hand. While the kid goes back to his friends, showing them the new toy he got, Alex marvels at the gun.
