Chapter #4

Breakfast

You cannot believe that a feline that huge can exist, much less be your brother. You look down so you do not look at his huge eye, but that does not help: you see that your house is on a huge white pole that goes way down, until it disappears between the lions massive digits.

"Hey, bro, are you okay?" spoke the huge beast. Quite unexpectedly, the wall to your room swung down and you are shaken onto the huge snout of your supposed sibling. You look back, and your house looks like it is resting on the head of a pin. However, a huge cream colored claw turned your head back towards the behemoth's concerned eyes. "It's okay, you can tell me anything, I'll understand."

"Um, I guess it was just a bad dream," you lie. You definitely do not feel comfortable talking with a fifty-plus mile tall anthro lion, even if it is acting very understanding.

"Well, you don't worry about those bad dreams, because your big brother Leonard will protect you!" The lion gives you a tiny tap to the cheek with a stadium sized knuckle. "Here, I'll bring you to the cliff now, the pancakes are almost done."

You see that the 'cliff' is indeed an actual cliff, and when Leonard lies down on his belly in a wide barred valley, the cliff top comes up to his lower lip. Picking you up off of a square mile of lion nose, your brother places you quite skillfully in a chair. Your parents were waiting at the table patiently for you to wake up, and thankfully you at least recognize them. Your hunger takes over your mind, and you dig in to the delicious fluffy pancakes. Interestingly, you notice that Leonard is also eating a city sized pancake himself, and washing it down by lapping up water from a river in the valley.

When you see Leonard turn away for a bit, you quickly ask your mother, "So, Leonard is adopted, right?" Your parents look shocked and stop eating, and your father says:

You have the following choices:

1. "You know?"

2. "You didn't tell Leonard, did you?"
