After a bit of walking and searching, the wolf sat down with his back against a rock and his legs out in front of him. As he sat there, he closed his eyes and let his head lay back as he soaked up the afternoon sun in the shadless, treeless clearing that had once held a city. Here, he had no boss to worry about as spec ops ran their own chain of command and he was the only spec ops troop here.
Far below, a creature just about microscopic from his size was charging the wolf. He had seen his little brother get picked up by the giant and had been following him ever since. He left little footprints leading to and around those of the larger lupine, which to D'rie were bottomless pits.
At last, the titan sat down and D'rie leapt up his sides as he climbed, and climbed and climbed to the pocket he'd seen his brother in. Tiny paw prints of dirt were left on each thread as he went and after about two hours, he reached his goal, but then there was something special about him that so far, no one knew and would not know for a long time.
The side of the pocket was a cathederal, the flap that closed it left a normally small gap but currently huge for the cub to slip through. He got in just as Khesk got up, which made it a challenge to reach his brother's prison, but in the end, he did.
