The audience began to chuckle. They thought it was part of the show! Soon, everyone was lifting their arms and shouting "Eat me! Eat me!"
Cassandra licked her lips. That announcer was kind of chubby himself, and that fat smart-alec wasn't too bad, either. So she reached out, and picked out all the fat people she saw at the circus that day. A chubby boy here, a plump woman there... something about the fatness just made them tastier.
Soon, the crowd was looking a lot thinner, but they were still pushing and shoving to get closer and be a part of the "show".
Cassandra patted her belly as best she could, smiled and yelled "Come on in, there's plenty of room!" Then she leaned down forward and opened her huge mouth. The crowd began to feed THEMSELVES to her! As they pushed and shoved their way down her throat, some of them began to scream as they realized this was no act. But with one sweep of her massive arm, she flung all the stragglers inside, snapped her jaw shut, and gulped.
