It had been at lest 16 years since Bowhan last laid eyes on this village and in that 16 years Bowhan had noticed how much it had changed over the years instead of it being the same old wooden city plagued by random monster attacks it was actually now a prospering city with trade caravans going threw it regularly the walls now made of stone and several defensive fortifications ringed the wall on each tower built into the wall. The center of the small town was a small castle that even at this distance could be made out as well as several other prominent buildings as well.
"Are we there yet?!" asked a another catching up to Bowhan and stopping to catch their breath.
"See for yourself" Bowhan said with a smile waving towards the city.
"Wow it sure is diffrent then when last time I saw it." Artemis said taking in the sight before her
"And how would you know that you were only a 6 months old when we left there." Bowhan asked already knowing that with here being half phoenix she had a mind like a venus fly trap nothing escaped her notice even when she was that young.
"Hey I might have been young but I remember seeing this town and how it looked 16 years ago dad!" Artemis said crossing her hands.
Bowhan gave a slight chuckle and patted his daughter on the back.
"Come on lets go down and see what up hopefully they have something for us to do." Bowhan said walking towards the town
"And if they do I get to help you this time remember!" Artemis said catching up to her dad
"Yes but only if its something I think you could handle Artemis." Bowhan said towards his daughter
"Dad you said that last time when you went against that Rectagalos in the last town and it went down with out much of a fight!" Artemis said with a pout
"Well there was no telling that it would have been that weak all other ones I have encountered have always been strong powerhouses capable of taking on band humans." Bowhan said walking.
"Well your still going to let me come with you this time regardless you promissed me remember?!" Artemis said
"Yes I remember besides I never go back on my word especially with my own daughter." Bowhan said ruffling her hair with his hand
"Dad quite it!" Artemis said playfully shaking her head from under his grasp and managing to get away.
"What you used to like that when you were little." Bowhan said with a laugh
"Well I'm not little now am I?" Artemis said returning to her father's side
"That all depends on who you ask to me you are my daughter who is becoming a full fledged lady in her own rights. Others might say your a little girl with a big attitude and then if you ask a monster they will call you a snack and try to eat you." Bowhan replied
There conversasion would last all the way to the town with both happy as could be Bowhan glad to be with his daughter and Artemis happy to be with her father and helping him.
