Chapter #6

Three on One

Jimmy turns to Valerie, gives her a respectable bow, as if to say, "Thanks but no thanks," and turns to attack the remaining three ants. It's best to avoid rich girls, and especially never in debt yourself to them. Valerie giggles at the chivalry of this tiny person in front of her.


He lunges at the ant right in front of him with his sword. Tackling and pinning it to the ground. In response the other two ants scatter and circle back from two different sides, surrounding him. One gets frustrating close as he provides the finishing swipe to the current ant's head. He beheads it just in time to react to this advancing ant. He backs away instinctively, not realizing that he is backing right into the other ant. It bumps into him from behind causing him to knock over the sword.

Valerie concludes that all hope is likely lost for him. What does she do?
