Stacy feels and looks as disappointed as most dogs do when they get called back to heel after being allowed off the leash but like any well trained dog she didn't object but just waited until it was place and then followed along. As far as she was concerned this was not a sign of some weird dog magic or freaky thing but just another pain of having a baby sitter. She bet if her parents trusted her then she would have been allowed to walk around without a collar and lead. Okay maybe still a collar as she now foound it hard to picture herself without one. Of course she would have a collar with her name and address on, wouldn't she?
They walk on for a bit with Stacy pointing some stuff out and making idle small talk before they came to the local shops.
"Oh I should pick a few things up." says Amanda.
Stacy is about to walk in through the automatic doors but Amanda just pulls her back on the lead. "Ah ah. You can wait out here." she says before tying her lead up to the small metal pole on the outside of the shop. The one next to the metal water bowl where all dogs were kept as they weren't allowed inside the shop unless they were guide dogs.
"Now there's some water there if you need it. I won't be long" says Amanda before heading inside.
Once again Stacy just saw this as the problem with a baby sitter and not weird just as embarrassing as a girl her age would find having to hold her mothers hands before crossing the road.
