Chapter #5She calls Stacy a cat by: Skyler "Amanda, the weirdest thing just happened," Stacy said, feeling slightly nervous. As much as she hated the idea of having a babysitter, Amanda hadn't been as bad as Stacy was expecting. She didn't want the older girl to think she was crazy.
Still, Stacy continued. "I've been seeing and hearing cats everywhere. I think I'm going crazy!"
To Stacy's shock, Amanda didn't seem worried at all. Instead, her babysitter grinned, the sort of malicious grin that sent shivers down Stacy's spine. Amanda reached down and scratched the back of Stacy's neck. "Oh, poor kitty, did you see something scary?" Amanda cooed.
"What are you doing?!" Stacy shrieked, pulling Amanda's hand off her neck. Amanda didn't seem fazed, however, and apologized lightly.
"Oh, I'm sorry, I just get ahead of myself sometimes," Amanda said.
Amanda grabbed a blanket at putting it on the grass, putting two plates of food next to it. While one was fairly normal, consisting of a salad and some chicken, the other had an unusual fish. The meat was an unnatural blue hue. Amanda got two drinks, a lemonade and a strange one that was a neon colour. The babysitter sat on the blanket.
As Stacy sat down beside her, Amanda pushed the strange blue fish towards Stacy. "This is for you," Amanda said.
At first, Stacy felt disgusted, but then she sniffed the fish. Her mouth started to water. While it looked strange, it had to taste absolutely amazing.
What should she do? Should Stacy... indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
