Neal was too smart to even consider putting his son;s on a diet. Not to mention that as a single parent with a job, he didn't have much time for meal planning let alone cooking. At least he had the boys every other week so he figured that with a bit ot discipline he could drop a few pounds. When he had the boys it was easy. There were never any leftovers and Neal tried to stay lean and hungry. It was the off weeks that were harder. He was bored and lonely and he ended up eating to fill the time. There was some progress- or at least stabilization. Neal still had the front porch but it wasn't getting bigger. Now if he wanted to slim down it seemed that he would have to do something different. The options seemed to be a stricter diet or an exercise program. Neal knew that he didn't have the discpilne to put himself on a starvation diet so if he wanted to slim down it was exercise. Now should it be the gym or take up running.
