You decide to risk not letting Zack in on your plan just yet, purely for the sake of being able to mess with him as Ms. Becker. You decide that firstly you need some means of getting her to show up to the machine shop in the first place. The farm shop that you've just bought has been good business for your dad. He's started to branch out. Such is his experience of fixing old farm equipment that he has recently taken to repairing old household items too. One of Ms. Becker's defining qualities is how much she loves her old clock. It was a horrible old thing that she must've bought from an antiques place a while ago and she insists on going on about it all the time at school, even during lessons. This could be quite helpful in engineering a swap with her.
The next day you go about your paper round as usual but just as you head down Ms. Becker's street you pull a pamphlet you had in your pocket, advertising your dad's shop along with a couple of other assorted pamphlets you were supposed to deliver to other people and slipped them together in with Ms. Becker's paper. When you reach the door to Ms. Becker's house you get off your bike and hide it in a nearby bush, taking Ms. Becker's mail in your hand. You, knowing that by this time of the day she will be getting ready to leave for work and will leave the house in about five minutes time, head around the side of her house out of view. From here, you open up a rucksack on your back and pull out a remote controlled car and wait.
About 5 minutes later you hear Ms. Becker heading down the stairs. You place the remote controlled car on the floor and begin to steer it towards the garage. As you know from your paper round, Ms Becker always leaves the garage door slightly ajar, just enough for the little remote controlled car to pass under. You wait for the sound of the front door being opened. When you hear the front door finally open, peering round the side of the house you drive the RC car into the wheel of Ms. Becker's real car triggering the super-sensitive car alarm. Panic stricken she runs to the car to turn the alarm off and you quickly slip in through the open front door. It gives you just enough time to reach the hallway and hide in an under-stairs cupboard. She returns soon after to lock the house and you hear the lock on the front door turn. Now successfully inside your English teacher's house you set out to find the clock. It doesn't take too long as you soon find it on the wall in the living room. You sneak up to the clock, pulling out a screwdriver and weakening some of the screws that hold it together, not to an extent where it's about to collapse but significantly enough that it will come apart reasonably soon. You unlock the front door and sidle out closing the door behind you, retrieving your bike and RC car and heading off for school.
Soon enough Ms Becker comes for a visit to the machine shop to get the clock repaired. The pamphlet had worked. You know that she's not available to visit the shop during school hours so you've offered to help your dad in the shop for the next week. He was pretty enthusiastic to see you taking an interest. When Ms Becker walks in she's surprised to see you but doesn't seem too concerned. When she asks for the parts to fix the clock you show her to the back room and she follows you in.
"This doesn't look like a storage room" she says suspiciously when she enters the room.
"Don't worry miss, just take a seat and I'll go and get you your parts" you reply nervously. This is the moment that you've waited nearly a week for and you can feel yourself breaking into a sweat. Ms Becker obediently sits in one of the pods whilst you make yourself look busy. When you're sure she's sitting comfortably in the pod you turn and press the button closing the pod door on Ms Becker.
"Wait.. what are you?" she calls out as you step into the other pod and close the door, hitting the button as a flash of light fills the pod and you begin lose consciousness.
