"Are you sure you okay, Judy?" asked her partner "Yes, for the last time Nick, the doctors couldn't find anything wrong", replied the exasperated bunny. "They pumped you full of drugs, Judy, of course I'd be worried." Judy appreciated his concern, but she was running out of patience. "I'll be alright, Nick" "Okay, Carrots, but if you need me you know where i'm at."
Judy decided to return to her apartment after Chief Bogo gave her sometime off after the incident. She objected, but he insisted saying, "It would do no good to have one of my officers at anything less than their best."
At her apartment she is overcome by an intense heat and wooziness. Judy considered calling Nick but didn't want to worry him. After the feeling faded she saw her reflection. A patch of fur near the injection site had changed into a rusty red color. If she had been fully alert she would have been worried, but she felt so tired. She decided to lay down and she drifted off to sleep.
During her restless night, her dreams were filled with Bellwether's maniacal laughter.
