Judy took Nick back to her apartment. When they got there she put the little Nick onto the sofa and put the remote on a nearby coffee table. She sighed and put her hands to her face in exasperation.
“I’ll be right back Nick, don’t touch the remote.” Judy walks to her bathroom to wash her face, hoping it will cool her down and relax her.
“Forget this I don’t want to be a kid anymore! Or a bear!” Nick thought to himself. He saw his opportunity and wasted no time in taking it. He grabbed the remote and pointed it at himself. He pressed a button. “This better work!”
There was a flash and he suddenly felt himself sprout up in height. His features became thinner; less rounded and bear-like. Excitement filled him. He was becoming an adult again! However his excitement faded once he realized his ears lengthened to bunny ears. He also stopped growing well short of his normal fox height. As the light fades he looks at himself. His fur color was once more its original orange color, and he was no longer a polar bear... but he wasn't a fox either. He was a rabbit. He turned to see a small rabbit's tail wiggle above his rump. He sighed. "Just terrific. At least I'm not a kid anymore."
He hopped off the couch. As he does his thumb accidentally hits another button.
