Ben knew he wasn't the best cop. However, he saw that as merely knowing his limits.

He knew what he could do to still help the force and did it well, but still, the chief would still come down on him. For all the things he couldn't do, for not being as tough as his other officers.

Ben liked to think he gave the ZPD a friendly face in the front office. Make them more approachable. If only the chief could understand that.

'I wish the chief wouldn't be so hard on me.'

It was a nice thought....and it was about to be nicer as it came true.
