Jessica is helpless on the sidewalk; anybody could walk by, not see her, and squish her!
A bike, a woman pushing a stroller all passed by, causing Jessica to cower in fear; crouching down with her arms pushing her head down. Unfortunately, just as the stroller passed, and she deemed it safe to straighten up, she was spotted by a young girl, about 10 years old.
"Hey, what's that?" the girl crouched down to inspect. "What are you?" She laid down to look. "*gasp* A little... human!"
Jessica expected her to be scared, but no such luck!
"Oh, cool! Come on, little one, hop onto my hand!"
Jessica cried "please take me to an adult! They'll know what to do!"
The girl said "I can't hear you. It's okay, though; I know what you want!
