Percy headed downtown, contemplating how best to use this book. As he was walking, he ran into a friend of his named Chris. They had roomed together in college. Chris had majored in filmmaking, and was hoping to make his big break into the film industry. The problem was that he had a limited budget. Percy had a sudden thought. "Hey, Chris, you'll never believe what I found!" Percy proceeded to explain about his magic book.
Chris was skeptical. "And have you seen this thing actually work?"
"Um, well, no..."
"That's what I thought."
Percy was not about to be dissuaded. "Tell you what. We'll get Jessica in on this." Jessica was Percy's close friend. They had tried romance in the past, but it hadn't worked out for them. Now they're just really close friends with no intention of trying romance again. Jessica was also unemployed after college with a business degree. The two walked to her apartment and Percy gave his spiel on the book again. Jessica laughed and rolled her eyes.
"Percy, for being a science major, you sure are wandering into the realm of dreams!"
Percy frowned. "So you won't mind being the test subject of this?"
Jessica laughed. "Write away! I'm not afraid of a book."
Percy picked up a pen and began to write.
