You're just about to bite the bullet and go to Emily's as you are and hang the attention, when you realize: you're Terra! You can cast Vanish and make yourself invisible! Or no, Terra has to learn Vanish from Magicite, so maybe not. But it's worth a shot.
You try to remember what a character used to do to cast a spell, but the problem is, there's nothing to remember. All they showed was the character's hands and mouth moving, and then the spell being cast. And no sooner do you realize that, than the instructions for the Vanish spell float to your mind.
You make the necessary hand motions and whisper the necessary incantation, and a slight tingle covers your body. You can't tell if it worked, so you bring your hand in front of your face. All you can see is a slight distortion of light in the shape of your hand. Final say: It works.
Traversing the town is harder than it would appear. People keep bumping into you because they can't see you, then wondering what they bumped into. You can't take a bus, because that's just asking for trouble, and Emily's house is a while away from yours on foot.
Long story short, you finally do arrive at Emily's house, and you are just about to ring the doorbell when you wonder if you should become visible first.
