-"Damn Marylin and her brother's bullies...agh..."- He tried to get up but he just had not any strenght to keep going. Even his clothes were damaged with such a fight. Then he heard footsteps near him and hoping the worst he tried to get up but he fell down again on his stomach against the ground. Then Joana asked worried
-"Blake, are you okay?"- She inmediately slapped her forehead for asking such a dumb question. Then she said
-"...Sorry for my stupid question, but...can you walk?"- Blake tried to get up again and said
-"I don't know..."- Then he fell down on his stomach again -"I guess not"- Blake said.
Joana extended her hand and Blake grabbed it, in that moment Joana felt a nice warmth flowing through her body from her hand, even when this was a simple thing and Blake didn't even figure it out, Joana liked to feel his hand grabbing hers. Then Blake stood up, limping and Joana helped him to walk to a nearby table. Joana rubbed Blake's arms and his hurt leg to disipate the pain. Blake might refuse but after a year he had enough confidence on her and he wasn't in the position to protest. Rubbing felt nice anyway. Joana also liked to do this, it was one of the very few moments she could touch Blake more than usual without him trying to avoid it. He never thought this as an affection sign.
Then she brought him some of her own food (Blake never had a breakfast and if he ate normally he probably would be stronger, he always fights with an empty stomach, he barely managed to eat once for a day and some times even not that) and fed Blake, who, again, wasn't in position to refuse.
