Chapter #59

Boys Will Be Boys... and Girls

by: rugal b. Author IconMail Icon
You never really get out to the southwestern side of town, out where Justin Orr lives. The neighborhood it sits in seems, at first glance, to be almost picturesque and stereotypically Americana; like something out of a TV show from the fifties. But looks, as you perhaps know all too well by now, can be deceiving. Because upon further viewing "quaint and cozy" instead turns out to be cramped. Those sidewalks look like they've seen better days. The lawns range from "barely maintained" to "overgrown". The houses themselves are, instead of a brilliant white, dulled and weathered.

It's into one of these depressing little houses that you step, greeted by Andy Jensen (or is it?) who lead you through the living room and down a small hallway.

"Good thing we avoided your mom, huh?" Joe whispers to Andy.

Andy, in response, snickers. "That's Justin's mom, you idiot," he retorts.

"That's—" Grant starts but then stops, grins, and reaches for Andy's face. "I'm gonna rip that off of—"

"Knock it off!" Caleb states "We don't really care about—"

"What's the problem?" Justin's face pokes out from a door at the end of the hall and his eyes go wide. "Shit, you're here already!"

"We're here and we totally could've fooled Justin's mom!" says Grant excitedly as he leads everyone into Justin's room, a thing as tiny and cramped as the rest of the house, covered in discarded clothes and the musky odor of a teenage boy who likely engages in the type of teenage boy activities that would produce something like that.

Andy tackles him onto the bed. "Yeah, we definitely could've fooled your mom, Justin!" he proclaims.

The boys begin jostling for position, each trying to get spot on the bed, before you've had enough. You let out a sharp "hey" and Caleb seems to have felt the same for he claps, loudly, in an attempt to get their attention. This is exactly the kind of horseshit that you were afraid of from these goofs. You realize that it's the kind of horseshit you were afraid of because they remind you a lot of you and your friends and look how that ended up? Left to their own devices, it'd probably end up even worse. That means that you need to start nipping things in the bud and imposing a sense of order.

"First thing's first," you say once you and Caleb have found some areas to stand, "I want anyone in a mask out of it." That causes a few glances around and you grunt. "Now," you say calmly but sternly. "This doesn't go any further until everyone is themselves."

It turns out that only Justin and Andy were swapped with one another while Grant and Joe are the real deals, which is at least a small relief since it keeps things slightly easier. Not much is said between any of you while waiting for the two swapped boys to wake up. Something catches your attention while you wait but you hold off on saying anything for the moment. Instead, you hold court once everyone has come to.

"So, you guys are going to be making some swaps, right? That's what I heard."

"Yeah we were thinking of—"

"Getting some nice boobs!" Grant exclaims with a giggle, cutting off Joe.

"Yeah, you are because—"

"Guys!" you cut in before Andy has the chance to finish his sentence. "One at a time or I'll shut this whole thing down."

Andy's eyes go wide. "How would you—"

"We'll talk to Lindsay," Caleb states. "I'm sure she'd be glad to know."

That produces a collective gulp as all four look at one another. But that seems to do the trick for they're all quiet now. "You're all switching but I noticed that someone's missing. Where's Bhodi?" you ask.

There's a hesitation and it's Joe who eventually speaks. "He's, uh, not participating," he says.

"Does he know about what you're doing?"

Joe nods. "Yeah but, you know, him and Paulina are practically glued to one another now so he said he doesn't have any interest."

"What about her? And the other girls?"

"Except Lindsay, right?" Grant asks and you shoot him a glare at his smarmy response.

"They don't know," Justin states. "I mean if we told 'em, it'd probably get back to Lindsay and you know she's not going to go for it. Otherwise you wouldn't have threatened to tell her."

He glances at Caleb who simply shrugs. "So you guys are doing this behind their backs? And Bhodi's keeping Paulina in the dark?"

"That's the idea," says Justin.

"Alright, so then who are you all intending to replace?" you ask. You point a finger at Joe. "You first."

"Me? Uh, Alejandra Roldan Cortes," he says with some hesitation. That causes eyebrows to go up.

"Told ya it was about boobs!" laughs Grant.

"Shut the fuck up," Joe growls. "I'm doing it 'cause she's on the JV soccer team with Evie."

"So you're doing it to help Evie?" you ask which gets a nod. "And how do you plan on getting her?"

"How do I—?" he starts. "I dunno, I guess I haven't thought about it. She's a junior, too, so..."

"It'll be even harder then. Okay, you," you point to Justin, "you're up next."

"Ethan Clayborne," Justin says quietly. "He's on the wrestling team."

"Chicks dig him," Grant says. "That's why you want him, right?"

"And who do you want?" asks Caleb.

"Kaylee Mercier," he says with no hesitation.

"Why? So you can suck off Justin when he's in his mask?" jeers Andy.

"Pfft, yeah right! Kaylee's hot, man! She's on the track team, too, so she's got that really tight physique and... oh god!" You half-expect Grant to cum right there.

"I guess that just leaves me," Andy says. "Anyway, I'm going with Andrew Webb. He's on the soccer team."

It takes a moment but the name comes back to you as the guy who gave you shit when you'd replaced Bhodi. So he's probably trying to help out Bhodi, same as you suspect Joe is trying to help out Evie. But a question still remains. "Okay, same question I posed to Justin: how are you getting him? How are any of you getting your targets?"

That produces nothing but murmurs and stares. Caleb groans and rubs his temples. "This is not gonna work," he mutters.

"Not if we leave them to their own devices," you say. "That's why we should stick around them. The girls aren't really anything to worry about but these chucklefucks..."

"Yeah, I getcha," he responds. "So how are we gonna do that?"

You spend some time talking to everyone and working out what will be done. The first thing, you realize, is to get you and possibly Caleb into identities first. From there, they'll act as a springboard from which you can then help the boys get into their identities as well. The question then becomes, though, who you'll actually become. There are some people — the super popular types like James Randolph or Courtney Blessing for example — that the boys wouldn't be able to get to in a million years.

So you decide to take things step-by-step. First, they'll help set you up in a new identity that they say, theoretically at least, they should be able to get; hopefully by the end of school tomorrow. Once you're in, you can then find a spot for Caleb. Once you both are set, then it's using your positions to set things up to facilitate everyone else's moves. But who should it be for you? The boys pull up different social media sites — Facebook and Instagram and x2z and such — on their phones as different names come up.

Top of the list is Julie Eckler. From how the others describe her, you want to view her as a sophomore version of Kim Walsh: a smart, nosy, and ambitious mover and shaker. The type of person who could get in anywhere. "But she's not really that hot, huh? Not as hot as Kaylee," says Grant. And it's true that while not ugly, she's rather plain and unfashionable. But Joe is quick to point out that she's still well-liked.

The next name that gets brought up is Riley Petersen. Justin shows you a picture of a pretty, but unpretentious girl. You're told that she's very friendly and well liked but a lot of people. But that could also make her a little harder to get to because "she might have commitments already."

After some more discussion, you're shown Heaven Granberry. She's a girl with dark hair that's long in some pictures and tied up in others. She's on the swim team and her body, tall and slender, looks made for gliding through the water. She has a bright smile and you're told that she's very friendly and low key popular. But some of the boys share classes with her and she's always nice to them which makes her seem like an easy target.

Andy next shows you a girl named Candice Lauer. She's a new student, still feeling her way and hasn't settled into any sort of group yet. Andy's talked to her a few times and she's friendly enough and talks with plenty of people. Caleb points out that all means she'd probably be good and you notice Joe shift uncomfortably at that. Justin pulls you aside later to tell you that Joe has a bit of a thing for her. "She's cute and he thinks he can impress her because she's new," he says.

The last person, after much debate, is Jody Lepley. She's a girl with a natural prettiness and wild hair that falls in thick, tight curls. She's got a bass in a lot of pictures and the guys point out that she plays in a band. "She's really cool, actually. And she talks to us," Joe says.

"We all kinda wanna fuck her," Andy smirks. "I mean c'mon, it's true!" he exclaims defensively when everyone's attention turns to him.

"All girls?" you ask somewhat incredulous.

"Sorry, man," says Joe. "But most of the guys we know aren't in any better of a position than us. So it wouldn't really help, right?"

If that's true, then he does have a point. So with that done, you debate a little more and finally decide on who you want to be. You break for the day, hoping that by this time tomorrow you'll have started settling into being...
