Gina walked into the casting studio and started reading for various parts as instructed.
It seemed as she looked around that most of the people there were about her age of 24 or a bit younger.
She didn't really pay much attention to the script, that was what her agent was for. She was there to read and act the part,
whatever that part might be and take direction.
After a day of this, she felt relieved when the director came up and told her,"I believe we have a major part for you, though it means
you'll have to go through some changes from time to time. How do you feel about aging?"
"You mean old age makeup?" she sighed absently.
"Yeah, something like that," the director replied.
"The script starts out with you in the present, and then there is a secret smoke bomb dropped into your party that causes you and everyone there to age. Then it is a race to
figure out what is causing everyone to age and reverse the effects. Some of you will age faster and others more slowly."
"I don't really care for a lot of time in makeup though," she replied hesitantly. What was her agent roping her into this time.
"Not a problem, as we have a new process for this, you won't really notice a thing and you'll find it really easy to get into character."
"Well, then I guess count me in," she told him.
"Great," the director replied, be here tomorrow at 6 am.
She spent about the next week filming scenes as she was currently, and then the director
came to her trailer one afternoon when they finished and handed her a bottle of juice.
"Drink this tonight when you get back to your hotel room," he let her know.
"What is it?" she asked.
"It is something that'll make it easier for you in the upcoming scenes, and it is perfectly healthy."
"Probably means it tastes terrible," she thought, though this was turning out to be a fun job, so why not.
"If you insist Phil," she replied, and then headed to the limo and off the lot.
"We'll send someone to get you about 8 am," Phil told her," just remember to drink the whole thing.
"Does it go well with tequila?"
"Sure...I guess, just don't overdo it tonight."
At which point she headed off the lot back to her room. She poured the contents of the purple liquid into a glass and added some tequila,
and fell down on the couch and put her feet up. The stuff wasn't half bad, and she figured it might have been okay even without the alcohol.
Her boyfriend came over to take her to dinner, and she finished the drink and headed out with him.
