"Not to be rude," Coleman said, trying his best to maintain eye contact and not look at the larger horses ponderous stomach. "But, how did you, you know, get so..."
"Fat?" The Clydesdale responded.
"Well, uh I didnt say that! I was gonna say, full figured." Coleman said hurridly.
"It's fine, I'm happy to tell you. As you know, I've been here awhile and well, the stable master tends to spoil us, some more than others. 'Pinehold!' He would say to me. 'You're much too small.' Obviously I responded to him with my usual candor. Compared to the other horses, not from this farm, I was already much bigger. Not to speak on his favorite of the bunch, other than you I'm the skinnyest one here."
Coleman was slack jawed, he had trouble believing that the absolute fattest horse he'd ever seen was actually the smallest on the farm. For the most part he'd only seen him and a few goats around this area, who were definitely not spoiled to the same degree.
