Not wanting to risk the fall, you tighten your grip on the cookie. You can only watch in awe and terror as your mother takes an enormous first bite. The sharp cliffs of off-white enamel tear through the colossal pastry with ease. In one king-sized chomp, she devoured more than half the crumbly landscape. What's left is a crescent shaped mile of chocolate chip deliciousness. From the edge of the cookie, you watch her chew the massive mouthful. After she swallows hundreds of tons of mash she prepares to enjoy the the rest of her cookie, unaware of her tiny, terrified son.
Lips that stretch for miles frame the view of your imminent doom. Mountainous teeth jut from the ceiling and floor of your mother's cavernous maw, big enough to fit apartment buildings in the cracks between them. As the cookie is pushed toward the towering wall of molars, you let go and become separated from your sweet platform. You fall onto the tip of the expansive tongue. The slithering muscle squishes slightly under your insignificant weight, immediately covering you in a thick film of saliva. Everything is thrown into chaos as she begins chewing. You close your eyes and attempt to hold on to avoid being swept up in the mire in the back of the mouth. Eventually everything settles as she swallows. You try to survey the area.
You peer through the darkness to find that everything, save for a landfill's worth of chewed cookie between two molars, is gone. You kneel in the middle of the tongue, taking in the vastness of your mother's mouth. The tongue alone stretches hundreds of acres in every direction. It shift and moves constantly like a gigantic, slimy whale. You look for any exit, only to find escape seems to be impossible.
Hopelessly trapped, you try to formulate a plan when suddenly...
