The distant earthquakes that were your family’s footsteps did little to rouse you from your nap. A lifetime of sleeping near the ground as your miles-tall mom or sister casually walked up and down the hall by your room forced you to become a deep sleeper,or develop a nasty case of insomnia.
It was only when the massive footsteps grew into tooth rattling explosions that you decided to open your eyes.You could only let your jaw drop as your colossal sister dropped down on you.

Walking down from her room and into the living room,December’s attention was drawn to the tv show playing in the empty room.
“Who’s watching those boring nature documentaries?” Looking around the room and in the kitchen,December shrugged when she failed to find her mom or Melly.Snatching the remote from the couch,she didn’t see her grain of salt sized brother tumble across the couch cushions as she turned to plant her jean clad ass on the seat.
Wiggling her ass to make herself comfortable,she pulled her legs up and planted her bare feet on the other cushion,idly rolling them back and forth on the soft,leathery material.Surfing through the tv channels,December finally settled on watching a rerun of a mildly interesting celebrity talk show.
Even though she had just picked a show to watch,she still pulled out her phone to text her friends and scroll through social media.
“When’s she going to get here? It’s almost 1pm,Bethany said she’d take me to the mall like 20 minutes ago.UGHH!” Forgetting that the tv was even on,the blond threw her head back over the armrest and groaned at the mild inconvenience of waiting for her friend.Sighing dramatically,her eyes snapped wide open at the sound of a car door closing from near the driveway.Shooting up from her seat,she unlocked the door and texted to her friend that she was getting her stuff.Sprinting up the stairs,December ran into her room to grab the essentials and check herself out on the mirror one last time.
