Just as it seemed like the giant boot would inch closer to her, Ichigo saw it move back and looked up to the pink haired reaching down for her with massive fingers ready to snatch her up like a claw of sorts. While relieved that she wasn’t gonna be a stain underneath the girl’s massive boots, she wasn’t sure if being picked up was a good thing either if Zero Two was her possible savior.
She didn’t have a choice regardless as she felt her body pinned and then brought up to the air as the ground got smaller that she doubt she’d survive the fall the same way that she survived a shoe. She struggled with the fingers while she was carried all the way up to the red eyes belonging to the fearful parasite. Ichigo froze while the giant tilt her head with every move she made.
“Hmm, you’re no ordinary bug are you?” She said as she brought it closer to her, “No, not a bug. Ichigo, right?”
Ichigo wasn’t sure she felt herself getting squeezed a bit more as the giant spoke her name without so much as a shock that she was tiny, was it from feeling satisfaction that she found her ally in a puny state or just because she seem interested in why she was like this? She wasn’t sure she wanted to find out.
“Zero Two, it’s me. I think that Klaxosaur shrunk me down. You need to get me some help, please!” The tiny girl said as quick as she could even if her voice might not reach the giant’s ears. Even if she had concerns about trusting her, she was praying that she listened and maybe got her to a safe place.
Zero Two seemed to think differently however and hummed a small tune as she stared at Ichigo, wondering what to do with her. While she couldn’t say she disliked her all that much, they still weren’t on good terms most of the time even if it’s perhaps due to complicated feelings or just her reputation. Either way, she kept looking at the girl between her fingers and soon decided…
