Adventures in the Neighborhood

As Alec looked around, he could see all of his hometown suburbia around him. He could even see his school in the distance. A smile came to the giant kid's face, and he began to stand up. Brushing the rubble off his backside, he watched it tumble back down to the ground. Looking down at his former house, he noticed the only two things still somewhat-intact were the garage and the basement. Just for fun, Alec raised his foot over the semi-crused garage that sat at the end of his driveway and rested it on the roof. Without applying any pressure, the black-haired giant boy smirked as he crushed it into splinters. His house had been entirely empty, he's sure. His older brother was at work along with his parents. There hadn't been any cars in the driveway.

Turning his attention to his neighbor's house on the right side, he saw their two boys out in the backyard. They were a year or two younger than himself; and currently transfixed on his towering form. Alec smiled with curiosity, and stooped down in front of them.

"Hi!" Alex spoke for the first time, scaring the pair out of their trance-like state. He giggled watching them fall back onto their butts.
