This choice: Jacob says hi to Bobby on the way to school • Go Back...Chapter #6Jacob says hi to Bobby on the way to school by: scriptboy   You wake up and look around the room with a start. Where are you? What room are you in? Then, you breathe a sigh of relief. You’re back in your own bedroom.
You leap out of bed, and you run to the bathroom, where you pause before the mirror. Yes, you’re back to being Jacob again! Did you just spend an entire day living the life of Bobby Fields, the soccer kid from across the street, or was it all just a dream?
You take a shower and get dressed for school. You go to the kitchen and make a sandwich before packing your bag for school. You run out and you’re about to cross the street when you spot… Him!
Luckily, you’re early. You still got a lot of time before the start of your first class, so you walk up to the younger, shorter blond kid. He sees you coming, and he turns to face you. He starts walking towards you as if he has something to tell you.
“Hey…” you say to him.
“Hi, Jacob!” Bobby says, looking serious at first, before he smiles as he looks up to you. “I… I know this sounds weird, but… I was living your life yesterday.”
You stare at him in silence. It was true. You and Bobby switched bodies for a whole day.
“Yeah, I know. I got to live your life yesterday. I can’t explain how or why that happened.”
“It was kinda cool, though. It was fun being a high school student for a day!’ Bobby chuckled.
“Well, I must admit… People really admire you for your soccer skills, dude! You’re good, you know that?” you responded. “And, you get to train with Melanie Trenton. You know I kinda have a crush on her, right?”
“Ah, that’s good to know!” Bobby smiled.
“So… Umm… Can you do me a favor?” you ask the younger kid.
“Sure?”
“Say this happens again tomorrow… Can you, like… teach me how to play soccer?” you ask him. You figure, having a soccer star living inside of your body would mean that he could surely give you some of his cool ball-handling skills.
“Sure!” Bobby grins. “Can you take me to the gym and have me lift weights? I don’t know anything about working out in the gym. Can you help me to bulk up, especially my legs?”
Ah! That would be an even exchange since you love going to the gym. You could go as Bobby and work out in his body. You like the idea a lot.
“Sure, but you won’t mind getting a little sore in the beginning? I hope that won’t mess you up if you must play soccer games!” you respond.
“No, the season doesn’t start till next month, so you can have me work out in the gym as much as you want. If you can make me gain some muscle, I would really appreciate that a lot!” Bobby replies.
“Okay, dude! That’s a deal!” you smile as you make a fist and the two of you bump fists together.
“We’d better get to school, big guy!” Bobby says, as he turns around and starts running to his school.
“See you later, soccer dude!” you shout back at him.
The rest of the day is just normal for you. You go to all your classes, and you end the day at the gym, where you work out your arms and chest. You make a mental note that you’ll be back tomorrow to work out legs.
You tell one of your friends at the gym that you might be on the soccer field tomorrow, but you invited some soccer kid from middle school to come over and work out instead. Your friends accept and tell you that they’ll help out Bobby of and when he shows up at the gym. So, you have everything set up for the next day, in case you swap again.
