Ash woke up one morning, still reeling from the fact that he was the champ, the best. He'd been training for years, and to finally pull it off felt surreal. He didn't even need to wonder what came next, his work as a research fellow would always lead him to new places and challenges. As he got out of bed, something was missing though. "Hey pikachu, did you get up already?" The electric mouse was missing, but that just meant he was somewhere in the house.
Little did Ash know, Pikachu had plans for him. After so many years of traveling, he was ready for some time off, and what better way to get it than by making sure Ash was resting and relaxing as much as possible.
