Some time later, he changes back.

Dave was a bit confused, he had been a bed for quite a while and now it felt weird standing on his own legs and being able to move again. He took the iPod and looked at the object app again, the transmogrify button wasn't dark and a little selection screen appeared when he pushed it, in it was only the word bed. He went back and choose scan again. He then scanned his chair and once the scanning was done, he checked the list again. Now there was a second option, named chair. He continued scanning several objects, the window, a lamp, a book and so on. Eventually he had pretty much scanned nearly all the objects in his room and they had all been added to the list.
"So I could now press this and change into any of the things on this list, interesting.” He muttered.
Than something hit him, aren’t limbs also some sort of object. But wouldn’t that be quite stupid, if he’d change into something like that he’d probably die. What’s an arm on its own. Still he tried to scan and apparently it worked, though the arm he had scanned, didn’t seem press able, or at least it didn’t respond. It seemed as the creators of the device thought of the same thing.
“Now what to do with this?” He asked himself.
Suddenly the door of his room flew open, slamming into the wall and in the surprise he dropped the device. It was his mother checking up on him.
“Are you alright, you’ve been in here for a couple of hours already.” She asked, with a worried look.
“Yes I’m fine.” He quickly said.
She turned around and took the doorknob. The iPod hit the ground and the scan was activated. Unknowingly to his mother, as she didn’t see it, the scan went from her head to toe. After she had left, Dave picked it up and went over the apps. He found back the arm he had scanned in the self app and at the persons app was now the name of his mother. He clicked it and saw two options, one was transmogrify, the other was called object. Upon pressing object he found every possible part of her body named and a transmogrify button at all of them.
“Interesting. But mother isn’t really so special, maybe if I could scan another person. Or I could go scan some more objects and test around.” He mumbled to himself.
