Thick, full locks of red hair flow over Johnny's face. He can't see. He flips the hair backward and looks up to see the old man with a wide grin on his face.

"I told you the results could be unpredictable. To use the stone properly, you have to focus on your desires while rubbing the stone forcibly with your fingers. Careful about holding it without directing your thoughts, or you may grant desires you don't really want to happen."

He beckons for the stone and Johnny hands it to him. Johnny feels an odd itching on his scalp and realizes that the old man is returning his hair to normal. Despite his creepy nature, the old man give helpful information. Johnny thanks him briefly and leaves the shop. He puts the stone in his bag, not wanting to do something accidentally, and then tries to decide where to go. He had plans to see Kyle after school, and dinner's only in an hour or so, but he's really anxious to try out the stone.
