Jack decided to head home for now. He was glad that he had done something heroic, but he was kind of tired. He needed to save up strength in case a big emergency came up.
Jack arrived home and flung open the door, nearly snapping it off of its hinges. He yawned and stretched out on the couch, ready for a well-deserved nap. Just before he closed his eyes, however, he noticed something odd on the table that he knew wasn't there before: a letter.
Jack sat up and picked up the letter, wondering who it could be from. There was no address on it, it was just a plain white envelope with JACK on the front. Being as careful as possible, Jack tore open the envelope and looked at the letter. It was a lot more descriptive than the last letter. It read:
Dear Jack,
I see you have decided to help others with your new strength. I am delighted you have chosen this. I gave you this power trusting that you would know what to do with it, and you proved me right. Therefore, I have decided to give you a little gift for your bravery and heroism.
Just as Jack read this, a bright flash came from the paper, causing him to stumble backwards and fall over. As soon as his vision cleared, Jack stood up and rubbed his pounding head. Somehow, he felt different. Looking down, he gasped upon seeing that he now:
