I hear there's an impostor.

Carol had enough!
It has been several months into Norman Osborn's Dark Reign and she has been replaced by an impostor! What's worse, it's the "reformed" criminal Moonstone, who is parading around in her old outfit! There was not much Carol could do but endure this humiliation but stay in hiding as the bad guys ran free.
Until recently...
As Carol was walking down to a friends house, she notice a red glint over head. There was Moonstone, flying into a seemingly empty warehouse. Carol knew that she shouldn't, but she decided to investigate this incident. Upon entering the building, she observed the psycho psychiatrist from afar. But her voice was clearly audible.
"Oh, thank God it's still here!" Said a relieved Moonstone. "If this weapon disappeared, Osborn would have freaked." She then held up an odd, cylinder shape gun. "It's gonna be helpful against those bothersome heroes. Personally, I prefer using my fists, but if this gets rid of them with less hassle and less mess."
Carol new this was time to strike. She began to get into her outfit and took on the role of Ms. Marvel. With her stretchy black spandex that covered her torso and the sash like red belt. Her yellow zig-zag symbol was loud and proud.
"It would be fun..." Continued Moonstone, "if I could use it on that cow Ms. Marvel!"
Just as Ms. Marvel changed, that comment broke her concentration. Ms. Marvel then shot out at Moonstone, as the villain turned around with the gun aimed at her.
But Ms. Mavel slammed her before she could pull the trigger! The two smashed through a wall and into the city streets.
Ms. Marvel pinned the impostor against the wall of a building, but the gun slipped from her fingers and hit the ground. The trigger went off, and a laser beam hit-
