As you walk along, you stare at your feet and see that your socks are looking wrinkled and screwed up. "They must have got scrunched up as I've been walking" you think. You stop to pull them up, but instead of pulling up just past your ankle, they continue until they go just over your knee! Your socks are also slightly see through, and they feel like they're made of nylon. As they're see through, you can see your feet and you see that they're smaller then before, and strangly your nails look neater as well! You dismiss as a trick of the light, decide your socks are just well worn, and continue to the principals office.
When you enter, you explain how your being tormenteted by a prankster, and the principal allows you to borrow a pair of shoes from the lost and found. When you walk over, his secretary, Miss Walsh, sees you, and says "I'm so sorry, but we only have one pair of footwear left!" She pulls out a pair of Ugg boots, and sees the despair on your face.
"I can see you don't want to wear this, so I tell you what. I'll let you take my shoes instead!"
You look at her shoes, and it's not a huge improvement, as she is wearing a pair of black high heels. Still, you don't want to walk home without any shoes, especially as it's been raining and the ground is soaked.
