Dr. Naomi Hunter smiled as her friend from the Shadow Moses Incident, Mei Ling, arrived into her lab along with Meryl Silverburgh.
"Hey Naomi," the perky Chinese tech whiz greeted with a smile.
"Hello Mei, Meryl, I hope you're ready for some tests," Naomi replied in her British accent.
"Sure am!"
"I'm just here because Mei dragged me along," Meryl said with a gruff tone.
Naomi ignored it and led them further into her lab, eventually stopping before a large pod like device.
"We're going to be testing out this device. It's supposed to enhance the user's genetic code but we haven't done testing on humans just yet."
"So we'll go in and you'll observe us?" Mei asked.
"Not quite. I'll join you in being a guinea pig. Chalk it up to curiosity."
The other two women nodded and Naomi began to remove her clothes.
"Naomi, what are you doing?!" Mei asked with wide eyes.
"Each of us has to strip down to our underwear for this, sorry I didn't mention it earlier." Though a look at Naomi's face revealed that she wasn't sorry at all.
Once the three had disrobed, they entered the pod, the computer shutting the door and starting the sequence.
A bright green light flooded the subjects in the pod and the door opened. Coughing and sputtering, the trio made their way out of the machine.
